A Town Hall meeting initiated by University of Miami President Julio Frenk was recently held at the BankUnited Center. The meeting was moderated by UM alum ( B.S.C., ’10) and Fox News Channel Bryan Lenas. Stuart Miller, J.D. (’82), Chair of the Board of Trustees introduced Frenk to the many guests in attendance.
Frenk is UM’s sixth president, who spoke of preparing roadways to a new century. He is intently spending the first 100 days of his administration by listening, with an intensive, immersive and iterative approach.
He announced that his inauguration would be held on January 29, 2016 when he will “articulate our common aspirations for the new century at the university.”
