On Saturday, February 21st, hundreds descended on Mellow Mushroom for their Grand Opening. Founded forty years ago, Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers has been serving up fresh stone baked pizzas to-order in an eclectic, art-filled and family-friendly environment. Each Mellow Mushroom is decidedly unique, with original artwork, different design styles and custom signage.
SOMI’s franchise owner is no stranger to South Miami. Vince Landis is a former Chief of Police. Local architect Sebastian Eilert AIA, designed a “Miami-look” for the 6500 sq ft location with the mission is to “create a good family experience within a long space.”
