Chamber South members welcomed newly elected Miami-Dade County District 8 Commissioner Daniela Levine-Cava at its October General Membership Breakfast.  She has been an active member of Chamber South and involved in the county’s social-services network for many years.  Levine Cava received significant backing from the Democratic Party and labor unions in her win over conservative incumbent Lynda Bell.   At the breakfast Levine Cava spoke of her first days after election and transition into her new role and about her plans for the next six months as Commissioner.
