TAQUERIA CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING

On Thursday, June 24th, more than 75 VIP guests were welcomed by the JEY Hospitality Group for the opening of their new TacoCraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar in SOMI.
The evening began with a private VIP party and ribbon cutting ceremony with City of South Miami Mayor Philip Stoddard, ChamberSOUTH President Mary Scott Russell and JEY Hospitality Group Co-Founders Charles Hazlett and Marc Falsetto. A VIP cocktail reception followed the ribbon-cutting ceremony before the restaurant was opened to the public for a grand opening celebration. At the public celebration, guests enjoyed taco and margarita specials as they listened to live music by DJ Lucian White.
The taqueria and tequila bar concept features similar menu items, weekday specials and Happy Hour deals as its flagship location in Fort Lauderdale, in addition to several all-new menu items such as the Oxtail Empanadas, Chef’s Seasonal Guacamole, Ahi Tuna Taco, and more. The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, late night bites and also serves Sunday Brunch.
The new SOMI hot spot is complete with indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 100 guests. Keeping with the concept’s urban artistic theme, the restaurant is decorated with street art and hand painted sugar skull murals created by local street artist Ruben Ubiera, who was especially commissioned for the project.
TACO CRAFT is located at 5829 SW 73rd Street in South Miami across from its sister restaurant, ROK:BRGR.
