THE WIRTZ GALLERY
Located in the lobby of the FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF SOUTH MIAMI, each month The Wirtz Gallery exhibits local and international artists. Gallery hours are: Monday – Thursday, 9a-4p; Friday, 9a-6p. Artist receptions are generally held on the second Friday of the month and are open to the public. The bank is located at 5750 Sunset Drive, South Miami.
In March the works of Shirley Bloomfiled (above) will line the gallery walls. In April, the Miami Watercolor Society will present their annual Spring show, and in May artist John Bowen will be exhibiting.
Recently the gallery hosted the Tropical Audubon Society’s exhibit “Preserving the Past, Protecting the Future” — a look at Tropical Audubon Society’s 75-year trajectory, their deep local roots and crucial conservation mission.
