On Saturday, January 17th, The Fairchild Palms, the young professionals’ networking group of the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden hosted its annual fund-raiser at Fairchild, “Fine Wines & UpScale Ales.”
The diverse members share a strong passion for environmental conservation through a wide variety of fun social and networking events. Members work with the students involved with the Fairchild Challenge to learn about preserving our planet, and get down and dirty with environmental projects and education.
Of this year’s event, Palms President Alyssa Barton, Esq. exclaimed: “we raised the bar to new heights for the Fairchild Palms with an unforgettable evening of tasting international wines and local ales. With 50 plus wines, many local craft brews, a mixologist, and an excellent food assortment, everyone left the event satisfied. Our 300+ guests also enjoyed a silent auction for travelers, foodies, collectors, and more; live music performances, and nighttime tram tours of the gorgeous art installations of master glass sculptor Dale Chihuly.”
