The 14th Annual Chamber South Business Expo was held on February 21st at the Datran Center in downtown Dadeland. Hundreds of visitors stepped into the “streets” for a tour of South Miami-Dade’s business community. Here they found banks, hospitals and clinics; schools and universities; business coaches, printers and marketers.
The Expo provided a myriad of over 100 opportunities to network with local business groups and non-profit community organizations. Service companies to clean homes and businesses; insurance agents; payroll services and contractors to repair or build out an office or warehouse hung out their shingles. Food and drink was provided by local restaurants scattered throughout the venue. Local musicians provided entertainment and exciting raffles and great prizes were announced all evening.
Some 32 sponsors joined lead sponsor Credomatic in presenting the event, which was organized by the Chamber South Small Business Committee in partnership with the Datran Center.
