With Fall quickly approaching we find designers presenting an adorable line of quite edgy outfits that somehow feature elegant looks fit for the modern day woman. As the fashionably conscious community falls in love with the newest collections, I hope you do as well. The watchword is versatility, with looks that take you stylishly from work to your favorite hangout.

There is nothing boring or gloomy about color trends this season as a beautiful blend of hues dominated the runways, ranging from Oxblood red, powder pink, dark mint, ecru and violet to indigo, malachite green, rust brown, dark turquoise and shades of silver and gold.

Rebecca Minkoff obviously continues her path of complicated ideas. If you were expecting some simple outfits that wouldn’t draw any attention, Minkoff’s collection will truly disappoint you. These ensembles are full of great creativity and catchy details. Playing with menswear textiles and edgy feminine silhouettes, Minkoff displayed a very chic yet street-stlyed collection, with a unique pairing of colors and textiles. The outfits are a little bit more than just simply paired pieces. There is a story behind each combination, paired with saucy accessories, such as scarves, handbags, headpieces, and chunky jewelry. With a collection fit for any woman, who’s to resist the temptation?

Roberto Cavalli showed a collection that blew everyone away. Taking inspiration from 1920s fashions and pioneer photographer Lee Miller, the brand displayed a fine example of exquisite fashion. Reflecting on styles of the 1920s period, Cavalli showed a collection that included lots of fur, draped strands of pearls, oversized collars, and beaded evening dresses with chic lines and classic silhouettes. If you are a big fan of unique designs and creative style, then this is one label you ought to check out. What Roberto Cavalli offers for this Fall is far from the regular fashion fare, as at this wonderful collection will reveal.

Givenchy decided to amaze its followers with magnificent designs saturated with touches of aristocracy, elegance and sex appeal. Each ensemble tells a story impossible to forget. Textures featured are of such great diversity that it is pretty hard to not like the collection in its entirety. Chiffon is mixed up with satin, along with fur and embellishments to brighten the collection. One thing that give us “Givenchy realness” is its wide variety of accessories, such as bags, footwear, scarves and belts. Such details are always important in building up a proper archive.

With its mix of textures and fabrics, clean lines and flawless execution this Fall’s collection is refined elegance with an edge. Designers are eschewing the fashion norms, pushing the envelope in ways we’ve never seen before and using the classic styles of yesteryear for new and evolving silhouettes of today. They say a classic never dies, but who’s to say this season’s new style won’t become the next closet staple?
