Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez was the guest speaker at Chamber South’s General Membership Breakfast held at the Dadeland Marriott on November 12.
The breakfast program provided for a Non-Profit Table Expo around the ballroom where several non-profit organizations spoke with members. Gimenez’s presentation followed.
In his brief remarks, the mayor recognized the Chamber South’s work improving the quality of life and business development in its service area. The mayor briefly highlighted several matters and then fielded questions from the attendees and candidly answered questions regarding property taxes, the proposed zoo park, new construction, transportation, and David Beckham’s soccer project.
