SURF’S UP!
On Thursday, November 6, the familial network of surfers and paddle boarders celebrated the opening of BLUE WORLD PADDLE Surf & Skate in South Miami at 6400 South Dixie Hwy. During the course of the evening some 250-300 guests were coming and going. Owners Bill Whiddon and Carlos Valdes are well known in the water sports community, and welcomed families and friends to their new location and a dream fulfilled.
Guests enjoyed a sushi bar arranged in a big blue boat; champagne, beer and wine flowed. The Surf Ride Foundation was on hand to raise funds for its work, and vendors provided giveaways. And with the store now “officially” open for business, Bill & Carlos ran special Grand Opening promotional sale.

Tamra Gordon celebrated CREAM’S new location on 73rd Street on October 30th at the end of breast cancer awareness month. Ladies enjoyed champagne, hors d’oeuvres and special Cookies for Jani to benefit cancer research at the University of Miami.
