AMAZING DINING EXPERIENCE

I work in the area and like to patronize our local businesses. My husband and I went to Corteza. What an amazing experience. The food and the service were amazing!!I highly recommend it. Here are three of my favorites: Tiradito, Ceviche and Basque cheesesteak.

MY FAVORITE PLACE FOR A REUBEN

Nothing better after a Saturday morning working in my yard than coming over to Deli Lane for their Reuben. It’s the best around! That, some slaw, and a good dark beer is my reward for a good job at home! You got to treat yourself right! Glad Mike and Jahn are staying around with all this new construction coming on down in South Miami. We’re gonna look like Brickell real soon! Such a shame!

Bike Racks at Fresh Market
What will it take to get bike racks in front of the new Frech Market for customers who don’t want to drive a car there? Who did the planning for the streetscape; it’s missing racks.

Bricks on Dorn Avenue
I remember years ago when the sidewalks on 59 Avenue were bricked over, and there was a campaign to put your name on a brick. So now that there’s construction going on and I understand the street widened and paved over, what will happen to the donated bricks? Does anyone care?

Save Room for Pedestrians
I see more pedestrian crosswalks being blocked by planters, A-frame signs and outdoor seating leaving little room for pedestrians to make their way through the maze. Is this obtrusive impact on the sidewalks even legal with ADA requirements for access? I hope South Miami code enforcement cleans up these corners and sidewalks.
