When SOMI Magazine first introduced Volver to our readers in 2016, owner Daniella Arellano had an exquisite clothing collection of European and Eastern styled fashion.In 2020 she completed the transition from womenswear to home. VOLVÉR brings a mix of European antiques and mid-century design. As “Dani” notes: “I had always loved fashion but interiors was in my roots and had much greater plans for me.” After years of visiting antique shows with her parents as a child, she became inculcated with a fascination with finding one-of-a kind curiosities with fascinating back stories. “Today I can say it has become my passion.
I always wanted to create a space of inspiration. A pleasant atmosphere of unique and elegant finds that embodies naturalism and history. I am very selective, so I draw a lot of attention to quality, detail, and patina. This journey has been more than I ever dreamed of. I adore each and every one of my clients and have had the pleasure of working alongside many talented interior designers. I’m excited for what the future will bring!”

SIM SUSHI & TAPAS
In the final stages for a proposed opening in late March, Chef Ped’s concept will bring new life to the entrance of our town center’s restaurant and retail district. In selecting the celebrated corner once dominated by Trattoria Sole, the location has immediate appeal. Chef Ped “just loves South Miami” and plans to make SIM his culinary career pinnacle.
The full-service restaurant, SIM will be open from 12 noon to 12 midnight, serving sushi, tapas and ceviche. SIM has an extensive full liquor bar and offers indoor and al fresco dining. Weekend brunches are planned.
