CONSTRUCTION UPDATE – February 2026
On “the SOMI mile” is cyclist, SOMI Magazine publisher and The Underline Community Partner John Edward Smith with Meg Daly, Founder and Chairman of the Friends of The Underline and Eulois Cleckley, CEO of The Friends of The Underline.
The Underline is one mile length within the City of South Miami. Over the course of this next year, SOMI Magazine is documenting the transformation of the underutilized land under the Metrorail into a splendid urban park with cycling and walking trails, together with special amenities to bring communities together.
