Returning from Milan in mid- September to finalize the opening of their long-awaited dream to bring traditional Italian cuisine to the USA, chef/owner Giovanni Angelucci and wife Carola are ready to greet you at their new eatery in SOMI when it opens in October.
At PastaMia handmade pastas bring the tradition and flavors of Italian regions and paired with Italian wines. PastaMia was born from chef Giovanni’s love and interest in cooking since his childhood, watching his “nonna” (grandmother) and mother cook as they prepared pasta and other traditional Marche regional dishes. The interest turned into a real passion and at 25 he left his business consulting job to devote himself completely to cooking, working in several restaurants in Milan, starting in the service kitchen and becoming a chef. His wife Carola took the initiative to realize the dream and bring authentic Italian traditions of fresh pasta to new markets. Together they want to share the rich Italian culinary traditions.
