Chamber South members welcomed newly elected Miami-Dade County District 8 Commissioner Daniela Levine-Cava at its October General Membership Breakfast.\u00a0 She has been an active member of Chamber South and involved in the county\u2019s social-services network for many years.\u00a0 Levine Cava received significant backing from the Democratic Party and labor unions in her win over conservative incumbent Lynda Bell. \u00a0 At the breakfast Levine Cava spoke of her first days after election and transition into her new role and about her plans for the next six months\u00a0as Commissioner.<\/p>\nPictured presenting the breakfast sponsor and speaker with framed Chamber South Art Festival posters are: Carmen Baker, Co-Chair, Governmental Affairs Committee, Col.
