Sabadell Bank, a subsidiary of Banco de Sabadell, recently opened its South Miami Branch on Sunset Drive.\u00a0 Banco Sabadell is the fourth-largest banking group funded by private Spanish capital.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, October 30th, a ribbon-cutting with the bank chairman and officers was held at the branch.\u00a0 As the bank is located within Coral Gables boundaries and yet considered to be part of the South Miami business district, on hand for the ribbon-cutting were both mayors, Mayor Jim Cason of Coral Gables and Mayor Philip Stoddard of South Miami.\u00a0 They were joined also by the presidents of both chambers of commerce, Mark Trowbridge of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and Mary Scott Russell of ChamberSOUTH.<\/p>\n
