Linen is a distinctively European tradition, and with the keen scene of interior design and detail, a new showroom has opened in SOMI.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\nShoppers will enjoy and appreciate the customer attention given by Giselle Dapremont and Louisa Stickel, Manager.\n

Alexandre Turpault dates to 1847 in France when he founded his company at Cholet, an area famous for its textile heritage. Turpault\u2019s genius and savoir-faire brought together the weaving of linen and linen blends into an industrial workshop that became famous for producing the highest quality craftsmanship combined with Turpault\u2019s unique fabrics.<\/p>\n

Alexandre Turpault fine linens collections are sold at Paris\u2019s iconic first department store, Le Bon March\u00e9, partner of the brand since 1862 and promoter of the famous \u201cWhite Fair\u201d in January.<\/p>\n

For many years Alexandre Turpault was a prominent figure in the luxury goods market. Turpault was awarded a silver and gold medal for the superlative quality of his fabrics featured at the 1878 and 1889 Paris Universal Exhibitions.\u00a0 Turpault\u2019s legendary reputation still thrives today as can be seen in each stunning collection.<\/p>\n

The showroom in South Miami is the only such showroom in the United States.\u00a0 Shoppers will find the highly Certified Masters of Linen for bed, bath, beach, table and kitchen.<\/p>\n

Customers will also find B\u00f6hmerwald bedding, duvets and duvet pillows, Nemours, French velvet pillows, and the Cire Trvdon candle collection that dates back to the 17th century catering to French court and clergy.\u00a0 Mohair, fine silks and other textiles are found in the showroom, including Peruvian baby Alpaca which is fabricated in France.<\/p>\n

South Miami was the ideal location for owner Wesley Lambert of the Bahamas to fulfill his vision and dream.\u00a0 South Miami is well-known for its active French community; Miami is an excellent luxury market, and the location is convenient for travel to\/from the Bahamas.<\/p>\n

J. McLaughlin recently opened its 98th location right here in SOMI at 5819 Sunset Drive.\u00a0 With locations in Boca Raton, Las Olas Boulevard and the Ocean Reef Club just to name a few in South Florida, J.McLaughlin boutiques occupy some of the most picturesque main-street real estate in America.<\/p>\n

South Miami is a natural fit for J.McLaughlin. Their collections are rich with vibrant colors and prints and will meld nicely with the lifestyles of local residents.<\/p>\n

J.McLaughlin was started in 1977 by two brothers, Jay and Kevin. They were young at the time, but had already had some success renovating Brooklyn townhouses. Their bigger goal was to create a new American sportswear brand, one that was based in New York and built on pretty basic concepts, classic clothes with current relevance, sold in a friendly retail environment with a neighborhood feel.<\/p>\nStore Manager Tanyua Bynum and Sales Associate Jona Olmeda attend to the shoppers.\n

The J.McLaughlin brand values tradition. It is more about style than fashion: straightforward, unpretentious clothing and accessories that encourage a natural sense of ease and confidence. Like our customers, our clothes and accessories are natural travelers: they go from beach to brunch, from campus cocktails to playgrounds of choice to places of work. The shop is a destination of choice for the savvy and sophisticated shopper, making each visit a voyage of discovery and exitement. frankie. looks to inspire and delight shoppers by it’s carefully edited collection of beautiful and luxurious products.<\/p>\n

They offer contemporary, ready-to-wear styles of established brands and emerging artists.\u00a0 Cheryl has her own brand in the store.\u00a0 Shoppers will find casual, luxury and evening wear, with price points from $50 to $500.<\/p>\n

Welcome to the recently opened Two Plus One Caf\u00e9 on Dorn Avenue (59 AVE), and you\u2019ll meet the three owners, Carlos, Frances, Nelson.<\/p>\n

The three have been friends for more than a decade in their native Venezuela.\u00a0 They decided to create an idea to revolutionize the coffee shop industry and open their very first business together.<\/p>\nMeet Carlos Feng, Frances Fung and Nelson Salvatierra\n

After leaving Venezuela they came to this country and travelled the East Coast before finally settling in Florida.\u00a0 And they choose South Miami because it is a \u201cgrowing and innovative area perfect as a pilot town for our new flavors and products,\u201d says Carlos Feng.<\/p>\n

Two Plus One Caf\u00e9 enjoys a multicultural background bringing the customer the exotic flavors of Asia, the friendly quality service of South America and the wonderful taste of European Coffee.
