On Saturday, September 19, some two hundred guests christened the new Il Vaporetto <\/i>restaurant and congratulated Carlos Silva on the opening of his newest venture. (Silva is owner of Old Lisbon restaurants.)\u00a0 Located on the corner of Sunset Drive and 59 (Dorn) Avenue, the former site of Trattoria Sole<\/i>, the space was vacant for over six months.\u00a0 The entrance to our shopping and dining district breathed new life as this Venetian themed Italian restaurant welcomed family and friends for the celebratory evening. Guests enjoyed passed zuppa<\/i> and antipasti<\/i> from attentive servers, and enjoyed tastings of seven menu items
