ZOO Miami Communications Director and animal enthusiastic par excellence took to the podium at the ChamberSOUTH November General Membership Breakfast & Non-Profit Business Expo to bring attendees a glimpse of the new $35 million Florida Mission Everglades exhibit opening in mid-December.
Magill presented a slide show (with photos mostly taken by Ron himself) of the new facilities and attractions. Visitors will meet native animals including a Florida panther, black bears, alligators and crocodiles, take an “airboat” ride on Lostman’s River, interact with park rangers from the Everglades National Park and meet members of the Micoseekee Indian Tribe. Kids will get to play in the Cypress Landing Playground. Florida style entertainment will be showcased in the new exhibit. The November breakfast was presented by the ChamberSOUTH Non Profit Business Committee, and included table top presentations by member organizations.
