Joe Natoli, the University of Miami’s senior vice president for business and chief financial officer was welcomed by the Chamber South membership at the August General Membership Breakfast. Mr. Natoli is also currently serving as interim chief operating officer of the Miller School of Medicine and UHealth.
He discussed with the members the many roles for which his office is responsible: functions of accounting and finance, information technology, real estate planning and construction, buildings and grounds.
As interim COO of the Miller School of Medicine and UHealth, he is responsible for business operations that support the school’s clinical, research and teaching missions. Prior to joining the UM administration in 2006, Mr. Natoli was with the Knight-Ridder Publishing Company for thirty years, including his tenure as publisher of The Miami Herald.
