The Underline is the name given to THE project to create a 10-mile urban trail and linear park from the Miami River to Dadeland South.
Friends of The Underline a 501(c)(3) non-profit advocating to transform the underutilized land below Miami’s Metrorail into a 10-mile linear park, urban trail and canvas for artistic expression are gearing up for a busy year full of fun activities and events to keep the community exciting about the future Underline.
The Underline Cycling Club kicks off a new year as we celebrate getting healthy with exercise on two wheels with six FREE family-friendly, group bike rides sponsored by Baptist Health South Florida exploring destinations and communities near the future Underline.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH, 10 AM
Plants with a Purpose. Meet up at University of Miami Metrorail station and bike from the MPath to Old Cutler Trail to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. We will hear about the collaborative plant selection from Fairchild horticulturists. Plus, riders get free admission to the Garden. Special thanks for loyal Underline rider Jacob Elijua of Allstate for being a ride host!
SATURDAY, APRIL 7TH, NOON
Bike The Underline is back! Meet up at Dadeland South Metrorail station and ride the 10 miles of the future Underline, towards our destination at Lummus Park for the Miami River Day Festival with our partner, Miami River Greenway and Bike 305.
SUNDAY, MAY 6TH, 10 AM
Vamos a Calle Ocho! Meet up at Douglas Metrorail Station to ride to our community gem Little Havana where we’ll sample the wonders of this thriving neighborhood.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST, 10 AM
Hit The Beach on Bike! We will head out from Brickell Metrorail Station through downtown and hit the Sunset Harbour Shops via the Venetian Causeway Greenway.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28TH, 10 AM
Bootiful Halloween Bike Ride. We’ll stop traffic as riders in costume pedal 10 miles along US1 from Dadeland South Metrorail station to Brickell Metrorail station.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH, 10 AM
Check out The Wynwood Walls. Ride from Brickell Metrorail station to Wynwood as we glide through the rich communities north of the Miami River for
an exclusive Wynwood Walls Tour.
The Underline Cycling Club leads the rides and blocks intersections along the way, for a fun and safe biking experience for cyclists of all ages.
