ChamberSOUTH partners and exhibitors braved the heavy rains May 18 to showcase their locally based products and services at the 17th Annual Business EXPO, May 18. The fun-filled event at the Fieldhouse of UM’s Bank United Center was free and open to the public, and offered an excellent opportunity to see old friends and neighbors, while making new contacts and business deals.
Hundreds of guests enjoyed the event’s good energy, tasty food samples, giveaways, and exciting prize drawings that highlighted the four-hour event. Special thanks to presenting sponsor U-Health, and Gold sponsors Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay, and Children’s Resources.
Hosted by ChamberSOUTH’s Small Business Committee, the event also served to remind residents to “keep it local” by supporting area businesses and service providers. Shopping locally strengthens our economy and community.
