New city manager brings decades of
experience and service
After graduating from Miami Senior High School Genaro “Chip” Iglesias chose to enter the Miami Fire Department, and at age nineteen when he donned his gear, he began his three-decade journey in service to the community.
In December, Iglesias was appointed by the South Miami City Commission to serve as City Manager.
