After six years of planning and testing out the concept and months of construction at the location on US1, former Miami Heat shooting guard Ray Allen and his wife Shannon opened a unique fresh organic food restaurant.

On March 25, as SOMI Magazine was going to press, the Allen’s hosted hundreds of guests for a free sampling of their menu.  The Allen’s worked the kitchen and dining room from the opening at 6a to closing at 10p.
This innovative restaurant concept is located at SW 67 Avenue and US1.  From its open kitchen, the restaurant serves a robust selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items at accessible price points ($4-$18) including soups made from scratch daily, fresh spun chopped salads, sandwiches and wraps, gluten-free baked goods, made-to-order cold-pressed juices, fruit smoothies, and fair trade coffees and teas. For those on the move, Grown has a full service drive-thru, grab-and-go options, carry-out, and family-style meals to go.
