ON THE BIG SCREEN
The best place to see TOP GUN MAVERICK is at the movie theater according to the screening aficionados. This should bring some life to the otherwise moribund Sunset Place.
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
In making your way around town, several establishments are presently offering live entertainment: Sunset Tavern with groups performing inside on-stage Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6pm. The Comedy show formerly at Yumbrella is now scheduled at PUB 52 [Show bookings/tickets at: HAVE NOTS COMEDY (www.havenotscomedy.com), and a Comedy Night also at The One on Sunset (formerly Swensen’s) on Saturdays (see TheOneOnSunset.com). Bougie’s is going full throttle with bands booked both in the Ling Room and on the Patio. CasaCuba presents Noche de Cabaret on select days during the month with rotating bands. PUB 52 is featuring local groups on Friday and Saturdays.
SOMI bids farewell to Deck 52 who after 13 years entertaining us at many venues in the Miami area played their last gig here in town at PUB 52 on April 29th.
